Questions about Pinterest Christmas trends 2026

When should I pin Christmas recipes for 2026?

4 to 8 weeks before the search peaks. Pinterest needs time to show a new pin and collect its first saves: Christmas cookie pins should go out from mid-October to mid-November, Christmas dinner and appetizer pins by late November. Pins published in mid-December rarely rank before the holiday.

When do Christmas searches peak on Pinterest?

Most Christmas food searches peak in the first three weeks of December: cookies and baking first, then appetizers, dinner and breakfast in the days before Christmas. In Germany, Plätzchen peak around the first Advent weekend and Raclette and Fondue just before New Year's Eve.

How is this list made?

From Pinterest Trends: the weekly search interest of Pinterest's seasonal, yearly, monthly and growing food searches. A search is listed when its peak in November–December 2025 was well above its usual level; the peak is carried to the same week of 2026. Search volume is Pinterest's own monthly estimate. Pork and alcohol searches are left out.

What about Pinterest Predicts?

Pinterest Predicts is Pinterest's forecast for the next year, usually published in December. This page is about this holiday season, from what people actually searched last year. For next year, see Pinterest trends 2027.

Planning beyond the holidays?

Pinterest trends 2027 lists the searches that peak from January to March, and trending now shows what is growing this week.
